“We are the Oak Ridges Lions and the Lions motto is “WE SERVE”.  For the last 58 year the Oak Ridges Lions have been dedicated to serving the community of Oak Ridges and the larger community throughout the world. The Oak Ridges Lions Club members are men and women of the community, who have joined together to “Build a caring community for families of Oak Ridges through community service activities”.

Oak Ridges Lions Club Family Fair

It is with much regret the Oak Ridges Lions Club will no longer be able to sponsor this much anticipated yearly event.   We look forward to attending this year's fair which will be run by local community volunteers.   We wish our successors with all the best with this endeavor.

As you can appreciate, putting on an event of such magnitude takes many volunteer hours on the part of both  Lions members as well as the community at large.   Over the years, the Oak Ridges Lions have seen declining membership and we no longer have the required manpower to oversee and sponsor such an event.

The Oak Ridges Lions Club would like to thank you all for participating in our previous events.   We also extend our whole hearted gratitude to all the volunteers who helped make our past events such a success.

We look forward to meeting with all of you in our community at our many BBQs which raise monies requierd to host and sponsor many community and international initiatives.

Effective Speaking Contest:

The Oak Ridges Lions Club would like to congratulate our Effective Speaking Contest winner from Acadamie de la Morraine for winning the MDA 2009 Junior French Effective Speaking Contest on May 2nd, 2009 in Toronto.
